Wildlife ,Pets and the like.

Wolves.
These creatures are mysterious and misunderstood.There's something truly spiritual about the Wolf.But there are
morons out there in the world who would shoot a wolf if it came onto their property.These morons tend to forget who is the
real trespasser.We are living in what was once wild territory ! We invaded the animal's habitat and took it for ourselves.It's
certainly possible that a wolf may venture across bounderies, but it's because of hunger.A wolf may be out searching for food
for it's family.That is not a crime.The crime is killing the wolf.It's not likely, not even remotely, that a wolf will come
to harm a human.Wolves prefer to stay away from us.So if you were to see one it's fair to say he's no more thrilled than you
are to meet.Chances are he will disappear from your sight and look elsewhere.He's not thinking of putting you on his menu.
Let the wolves be...let them run free.They are gifts from the Great Spirit and don't forget it!
Keep Pets Warm
It's cold out there and in some areas it's freezing,colder than expected.Some pets are are kept outside, why ,I don't
know but they are.They get cold too believe it or not, and need warmth and shelter...duh. When the ground freezes , think
about your pet, what about it's feet? Cold baby, cold! Get your buddy ready for winter ...build or fix shelter in the
garage or whatever.Give em a warm,dry place to keep them well and happy, just like they deserve. It would be cruel to do otherwise!I
say bring them in to join the rest of the family, how about it?

Tigers.
Tigers are no doubt the most beautiful animal in the world.To me there nothing as exciting or breathtaking as
the regal tiger.What a sick shame that they have been hunted into near extinction by trophy hunters.This sport of trophy hunting
is assinine.I may not have spelled it right in your eyes but it certainly sounds right to me.Assinine.Actually it's murder,
plain and simple.Why kill a beautiful creature like this? Greed and other stupid things.They (sick morons) have even put tigers
in small cages and let other sick morons (rich, sick morons)shoot them.How sporting.How horrible is this? It wasn't meant
to be this way! What's wrong with people ? Tigers are so magnificent...alive and free!!!Another grand gift of nature.

Pat Glover is a friend and a wildlife rehabilitator who's specialty is tiny birds.She tells me cute stories from time
to time.Recently she told me this one.
The poor little house finch flew smack into the closed window off the patio.To
make matters worse the cat saw this and stuffed the bird's head into his mouth.The cat's owner saw this and screamed.She told
Mr.Fluffy to drop the bird and he did.But quickly changed his mind and got him again.His owner horrified for the poor little
finch picked up a rock and through it at her beloved stubborn cat.The rock hit the ground with a loud crack and the cat dropped
the bird and ran.The relieved woman picked the up finch and was amazed at his appearance.After three times into the
cat's mouth he was missing no feathers and had no injuries except a small bump on the head from hitting the window.He was
ready to fly away and rejoin his mate, who no doubt would be happy to see him.He flew over to the tree and his mate flew towards
him to meet him in the air.The two of them headed for a branch where the female launched into a tirade.The poor male finch
never said a word in his defense.She was hopping mad that he had been gone for so long and really let him have it.He had a
great story to tell but even if he got the chance she'd never believe him anyway.All he had to show for his misadventure was
a little bump that was almost gone.What a day !

The Comfort Cat
The great comfort creature is the cat.That fabulous furry feline.The worries of the world melt away when Missy Foo Foo curls
up in your lap and becomes the center of your attention, the focus of your thoughts.This is what we look forward to all the
weary day.Who needs Calgon!Ahh, there's nothing like a cat!And isn't it nice to be owned by one?
